The Intensive Spanish Course offers 30 hours per week, which is made up of 20 hours of Spanish group lessons, 2 hours of groupal coaching, 5 hours of cultural activities, 1 hour of Dancing lessons and a colombian- food cooking lesson of two hours. We welcome students, professionals, and families to study with us in this fundamental course.This course is offered Monday through Friday beginning at 9am until 1pm, and prospective students may enroll any Monday of the year that is not an official holiday. The first lesson focuses on building skills in grammar and vocabulary. A brief break is offered, followed by the second lesson focusing on practicing those skills in reading, listening and conversation activities. Optional cultural outings are available in the afternoons and vary each week.

After exploring the supermarket together you will walk to a tofu shop, where you will have your cooking lesson. Rita will walk you through the process of how tofu is made from soy beans and describe the variety of products that can be made from it. During your hands-on cooking class, you will have the opportunity to help prepare and taste the unique ingredients and seasonings that form the foundation of Japanese cuisine. Your cooking lesson with last about an hour and a half before you sit down together to enjoy the meal you helped prepare over a fun conversation. Your fresh and seasonal Japanese meal might include dishes such as Chirashi-sushi, miso soup, Teriyaki of fatty Buri (yellowtail) fish, and tofu dishes.
Join your hosts Annette and Jose in their kitchen and learn to cook a traditional Spanish meal. Your hands-on cooking lesson will last about two hours and you will learn to cook three dishes from scratch. A potential meal could be cordero a la pastora (lamb and potato stew) with alcachofas con salsa (friend artichokes with romesco sauce) or espinacas on garbanzos (spinach with garbanzo beans) on the side, and Torija (a Spanish style French toast) or Leche Frita (a fried dough of flour, milk and sugar topped with cinnamon) for dessert. Meet your host Marie at her beautiful old cottage in the countryside where you will join her for a hands-on cooking lesson in her sunny, family-style kitchen. Learn to cook a creative Irish meal that incorporates seaweed into both sweet and savory dishes! Your interactive seaweed cooking class will last about an hour and a half and you will be making three delicious dishes from scratch. You will learn to make a bread, a soup (for example Mulligatawny soup with kelp) and a dessert like sticky date and walnut pudding with seaweed. Enjoy learning about how you can best use seaweed in your cooking from this passionate local before you sit down at the table to share the meal you helped prepare over a delightful conversation.
